This Sunday 10/2 is the last race of the 2005 season for EORC. The race will be at Cold Spring Pond in Southhampton. Show up early because the parking is tight. Testing at 12, racing at 1.

Hopefully, the weather and the tide gods will be with us, like they were at North Sea. We had to change the location, back to the old course off the point. This enabled us to not worry about the pleasure boats in the channel.

So come on down, it's your last chance to get saltwater in your face and sand in your wet shoes.

Our next meeting will be Oct. 20, at the Community Center, 39 Montauk Highway in Bluepoint at 8pm.

At this meeting we'll be recapping the last two races and taking nominations for officers for 2006 with elections next month on November 17, same location and time.

NEWSFLASH****Ken and Carole Terry have jumped on board to direct the banquet in January. They do a great job.
